Elftmann Triggers

No personal experience but have seen reviews that make it sound great. This link is to a trigger roundup with 13 different triggers reviewed. It was his favorite trigger of the group and the trigger scan of it makes it look very impressive. .000" of takeup, .0185" of creep (the best of the test was .016" by the AR-Gold trigger and that minute difference you wouldn't even be able to tell. Its .041" overtravel is comparable with all the others and has a nice short .047" reset with a super loud click. The trigger scan data showed it to be the best and he personally liked it the best too.

I got the AR-gold before seeing this review otherwise I may have gotten the Elftmann. However, the AR-gold was designed to be a bit different and is awesome too. It has a secondary sear as a safety, is capable of being adjusted lighter, has intentional pre-travel just like a 1911 if you are used to that, and also has a very short reset.

If you want a trigger that is more like the Elftmann with zero pre-travel than that is the best trigger you can get. If you like the slightly different feel of the two-stage (but not typical 2-stage, very light first stage with second stage taking most of the weight so first stage is taken-up just placing finger on the trigger.) trigger or like 1911's then get the AR-Gold. Looking at the test you can't go wrong with the Elftmann though.
