Elit Edge 10-848 Spring Assisted Folding Knife

Stopped by the local gun and knife show a couple weeks ago and found this knife. Was attracted by it's looks so I picked it up and loved the feel of it in my hand. It appears to be a well made, solid little knife that holds an edge well...best of all, I got it for $5.00. I'm pretty pleased with the deal.

I probably own 20 or so folding knifes and have never bought one this cheap.

It replaces my Gerber folding pocket knife for EDC.

IIRC Edge brand knives are made in the soligen area of Germany.

I have one of their Bowie knives I bought in 1966 and took to
Vietnam with me.- Still have it. I
My son took it to the sandbox for good luck.
I can assure you my grandson is not leaving home without it when his time to serve comes

I have no idea...if it is a knock off...they did a hell of a job with it as it is well made. I've seen similar at flea markets around this area of Florida we're staying in...the they're asking $10 for it. That's still a great deal.

Looks like China is marked on the blade.

Chinese made knives have come a long way from the uniform garbage we used to know. The FF/Massdrop Gent Ti framelock S35VN in my pocket is a great knife.

For $5 or $10 we can assume it is made in China since only the Pakistanis can make a less expensive knife.
