If S&W introduces a line of bourbon, I will definitely be buying it.

I'm excited for whatever it is... maybe they are bringing back the Schofield revolver, or introducing a S&W lever action rifle! I'll be watching Shot Show for this, and whatever NAA is coming out with as well.

Otherwise it'll be no more important to me than a S&W branded flashlight sold at the local autoparts store.

Another one of their "smooth" ads shows a guy in hunting garb wading through a lake... holding something, but I can't make it out. Between the two ads, it's random enough that I have no idea what's coming.

Interesting, I guess we will have to wait.

I hope it's gun related and not like the Hornady adds of past that will "change everything", and turns out to be something they should have fixed long ago. (Polymer tips on bullets that don't melt at 3000fps or higher)

If it's not gun related, like a new six shooter or something, I'm going to be bummed out.

If S&W introduces a line of bourbon, I will definitely be buying it.

I'd take S&W Bourbon though.

That would certainly make that part of the gun "smooth".

I hate these advertising hints and build up to some new product. Nine times out of ten I am utterly disappointed by it when it's finally revealed so now I am conditioned to expect disappointment when I see these crappy attempts to build interest.

Show me what it is or shut up and quite wasting my time!

Yea, maybe the guy dressed as a cowboy in OP is using that fire to melt down a bunch of the worthless internal locks.
Then he takes a new S&W handgun without the lock, shows it empty, pulls the trigger and says, "No Lock Smooth".
