I have a beloved but broken EMF manufactured Armi Jager Frontier Buntline. The blind hole for the ejector housing stripped, and I tried to rethread the hole to #10 which was not successful. I would like to repair the gun, or potentially swap on a different barrel until i get a good repair on the ejector housing situation. How tight are the barrels normally, and how strong is the frame? Right now it's limping with injury, I would hate to kill it by breaking the frame AFTER buying a numrich barrel. If it's an easy removal I can take the barrel to a local machine shop, but I don't want anybody running afoul of the legal requirements for working on a gun...but they can fix a detached barrel.
