Empty 45 acp foam cases/holders

I know this is probably an odd question, but I'm getting ready to get into reloading this summer and only have a couple of empty cases/boxes. While I could just throw the 45's in a tub, I'm kindof compulsive about organization.

Do you know where I can buy a dozen or so empty 45 acp foam/plastic boxes? Not really the box, but the round holders inside the boxes.

I know you know what I'm talking about, but a picture never hurts. lol (Plastic part)

Skip the foam and get some of these... last forever buy in large quanity save even more.

a) pick them up from the range where you shoot from other shooters who have binned them.
b) buy more commerical ammo
c) use a substitute

Midway used to sell them & the paper boxes too.
They wouldn't necessarily fit your cardboard boxes though.

Your best bet though is to not waste your money.
Just buy some plastic snap-lid ammo boxes for $1.89 and be done with it for life.

Years ago I bought a dozen Dillon 100 round boxes. After dumping loaded rounds in ammo cans for many years after, I gave them away.

Thanks for these links guy's. I have been wanting some of these but kept putting it off. These will be a lot better than the large gallon-ish size folgers coffee containers I have been using.

I prefer the 100 round boxes over the 50. Just seem to be more convinant. I started with the 50 and grew tired of them real fast and swicth to the 100.

Those work great in the reloading room !!

I always have brass in various stages of being finished, put a removable label on the lid to know what is contained.

cabela's has the plastic boxes as well but they're cheaper at the store (same price as midway). I wouldn't buy them from midway unless you've other stuff to purchase or are planning on buying a lot of them. Shipping + tax might negate the cost effectiveness.

If you've got a cabela's close by, check 'em out. Bass Pro never seems to have any in 45acp by me, and they're about $3 too!

If I lived near a Cabela's I'd definitely check them out. Unfortunately, living out in the sticks has it's negatives. I usually end up doing most of my shopping online anymore.

I load a fairly large quantity of ammo at one time--I buy rubbermaid or equal plastic containers to store ammo---some I have had on shelf for close to
thirty years---still in good shape...........................

Some I store in Midway foam with cardboard box.
