EOTECH Clearance on Bushmaster

Ok, Have a Bushmaster M4 with fixed carrying handle. Want to mount a EOTECH on the front handguard on rail. Before I buy one, can anyone tell me, does the EoTech sight picture clear the front sight and also the rear sight/carrying handle. Or are you looking right through them. Basically how high does the EoTech stand. Any photos of anyone who has this set up is appreciated. I have used EoTechs, Aimpoints, and Acogs before but always mounted on a flat top receiver. Thanks.
