I just got my Sig P226 back from Ernest Langdon. He doctored it up with one of his Level 2 trigger jobs. Went and shot it today and it was like butter. The guys who work at the range popped a few rounds downrange and were practically drooling.

Here's the bad news. Mine was probably the last SIG he'll ever work on. He stopped taking them a little bit after I sent mine. He told me he had to scrounge for parts to make mine happen. However, if you own a Berreta I would strongly recommend sending yours off!

That's odd. You would think with him working with Sig directly and them having a Langdon model that he would be able to get what he needed.

maybe they thought it would be better if they offered Landgon custom services as a special deal for their special high priced P220. He's got to be really busy anyway with SIG and Beretta custom jobs, competition, teaching classes.

He's posted on his web site that he will no longer do ANY work on Sigs. I believe the reason is that he just can't get the parts from Sig. Seem's weird that Sig wouldn't support a man they named a special edition pistol after, but maybe there are reasons we don't know about.

This has been discussed much over the Sig Forum, btw. (You should be albe to guess the url...)

He doesn't work/isn't sponsored by them anymore, and seems like they didn't part on very good terms.

You got that right!!

E. Langdon did a basic "level 1" (I think level 1) on my 8045 Cougar and it turned out terrific!!!

Is he doing work on the Storm carbine? I'd imagine he would. Several guys I know like everything about the carbine accept the trigger.
