First, Merry Christmas! I inherited a couple old Bucheimer holsters one of which impressed me with the quality of the leather and stitching. They were used primarily for LE and gov't agencies especially in the 1960s-1979. One has a retention screw at the bottom front which tightens the clam shell type holster. Although it's made for a detective special it holds my SP 101 2 1/4" tight. I found Bucheimer concealment holsters for the SP and my Smith model 10 4" trade ins. Even with the 34oz. model 10s they hold the guns high and tight with no flop. I'm finding these used holsters for $18-34 so I'm not risking much if it doesn't work.

Nice! I have the one in the last pic. Fits my CA bulldog 45 colt ok
The holster in the last photo is supposed to be for a 4 inch barrel. The second one is made for the Colt Detective spl snub and fits my SP 101 2.25" 357 which is about the same size as your Bulldog. I think it would be a good fit for your Bulldog.

I found another Bucheimer"Concealer" basket weave that fits a S&W model 10 4" made for Graves uniforms.(1977) It's in better shape than the last 4" Concealer I bought. Why not, for $21? IMG_1591 (2).JPG IMG_1595.JPG
