I have a Ruger American (short action) in 7.62x39. I want to put a red dot and BUIS on it. The problem is that the rail on the receiver is not long enough to accomplish this. I don't want to use bolt-on extensions because then I need to raise the red dot. I've looked around and come up blank. All I find are rails for long action guns.

Does anyone make a receiver rail that extends out forward past the receiver? 0MOA of course.

Thanks for anything you can point me to.

Can't help with the rail, but what'd you do for the front sight out of curiosity?
Just gonna have some flip-ups on the rail. Yes it's a stupid short sight radius but it does the job at closer range and is way better than just guessing.

I have some 45 degree offset ones on my scoped Ruger American, but the offsets won't fit under the red dot like they do the scope. Otherwise I'd just use those.
