To each their own. I've been shooting C&B revolvers since the mid 70s and never saw the need for extra cylinders. Fumbling with a loaded cylinder outside the gun never had much appeal to me. If I ever thought that was a significant issue, I'd just load a second gun.

I hope my arbor pin dont come out with a press of the thumb. I had that happen one time shooting and lost the barrel. Now the wedge that might be a differnt story if it was thumb tight, but still I like to tap it with something just to keep everything tight.
