Hello,
A friend of mine has a S&W CS9 pistol with broken extractor claw. Our local S&W distributor is, let's put it politely, not quite helpful... And S&W does not deal with foreign customers directly, only thru the distributor. So we are left with the option to search for some aftermarket part, or some other vendor. The problem is however, that there seems to be a very limited offering for CS9 parts, so if anyone can help about that part it would be great! I tried Numrich, Midway, Brownells without any luck. And one more thing - although not listed, is it possible to fit an extractor for 3913 for example? If I remember correctly, the CS9 was a scaled down 3913 pistol, so I believe that the extractors might be dimensionaly close enough.

Because of international treaties on firearm trafficking, it can be difficult to get replacement parts from the U.S. to elsewhere--You might try Jack First (parts distributor) in South Dakota--they also make custom replacement parts as well as stock a bunch.

Thank you guys. My brother lives in the US, so he can ship it to me.

That really doesn't change the law. Your brother will have to fill out a customs declaration stating what's in the package.

Just an update in case someone has the same problem - part #329250 from Numrich is the correct one. CS9 is not listed there, but according to the S&W retail parts list it uses the same extractor (S&W part #101250000). The only difference with the original part is that the new extractor was missing the relief cut just behind the claw for clearing the case rim, in every other aspect both parts are identical - I checked with a caliper every dimension I could think of. As it turned out, the extractor was clearing the rim fine without that cut. We function tested with about 20 rounds - just charging, no firing (Firing pin was removed, thank you for asking!) and it worked without a single problem. All is left to be done is some live firing, but I don't think that the pistol will show any problems.

P.S. My friend finally admitted what caused the extractor to brake - putting manually a round in the chamber and then releasing the slide from slide release. After he got some 10 min. shouting and cursing from me I believe that he would refrain from that technique in the future...
