Falcon ching sling

I had a Galco Ching sling on my Savage Scout a number of years ago. Well made and it worked very well.

The Ching sling is a great hunting sling. Simple, fast, and easy to get going, and rock solid when shouldered.

Galco's stuff is nice, but I don't think its as nice as they seem to think it is when it comes to price. Its a nice sling, but I dont think its worth what they want for it.

I have one on my Ruger American 30-06. It works fantastic and is a real aid in off hand shooting. My only issue besides price is how stiff it is. Anyone have any tips or tricks for breaking in and softening up leather slings?

They are neat but don't overlook the Rhodesian slings.

They only require 2 sling swivel studs so can be used on near any rifle no modifications needed, are notably lighter, and nylon options like the Wilderness are lighter still.

The Galco only takes 2 swivel studs also. Not familiar with the Rhode skin slings will have to do some research.
