beretta u22 neos. fits me good and very accurate. i actually used it today to shoot a fly off of my target.....ok, so i was about 5 feet away and it took a couple shots at a still fly....i still got a kick out of it!

Ruger Standard I bought with my dad back in 82, it was used and he went in halves with me for my B-day. Took some of the sting out of missin the ole Marlin 60 the other boys got when they where 10. Worth the 3 month wait if ya ask me. Still goes to the range every time.

I've got an original Mark 1 Ruger that I enjoy shooting a great deal. I've got a Browning Buck Mark Hunter that's also a fun gun to use for plinking. I've got an original Whitney Wolverine that's another excellent plinker's choice. Whichever one I have in my hand at the time is my favorite .22, I guess -- unless, of course, it's a Walther PP. That is far and away the best of the bunch, IMO.

While my Benelli MP9E is my most accurate I still shoot my Ruger MK II Target the most. Its VQ trigger makes it a joy to shoot and since 1991 has been my "go to" .22 pistol.

This one. :D

Manurhin PP.

Wacky accurate for a little tiny gun, though not perfectly reliable. About a 2.5 lb. trigger in single action, crisp and clean, and point of impact square on the middle of the top of the front sight. I shot sub 2" groups on paper at 25 yards on a regular basis, annoying my friends to no end. Alas, it went to fund a new car, and though I doubled my money it is still missed.

Ruger Mark series .22s, been shooting them since the 60's and never a single glitch. Only negative is you just about need an engineering degree to disassemble/reassemble one.

Huh? Is it really that hard for you? If you can't understand the relationship between the hammer strut and the mainspring plunger when you swing the back piece in...you shouldn't own ANY Ruger .22s at all.

dont remind me, recently i had a Kimber 1911 22 pistol, not the conversion, ...best 22 semi i ever owned, accurate ,easy maintenance, reliable as hell, not 1 hiccup,Now i see why it cost $700+, but like the big dufas i am i sold it,needed the money for another pistol, but thats alright i just put me a Ruger 22/45 5'' bull barrel, ...Should be a sweet shooter as well.

And you'll need it about as much as you'd need an engineering degree... I don't know why people say Ruger Mk .22s are so hard to take apart and put together.

Very easy to take apart. Putting them back together is another story.

I own several .22 pistols and have owned several others but of all the ones I've had and have this Colt Woodsman Target Sport is my favorite.

I have owned several .22's over the years. Right now I have a Mark II Government Target and a Ruger Mark II NRA model that I really like.

But, my favorite is the Smith model 41. Hands down winner. I am going to have to get another one.

Browning buckmark target
Browning buckmark camper
Colt Woodsman
Walther p-22
All are great but none compare to my single six hunter :D
