Favorite Ruger?

My tricked out mkIIIs, of course.
The SR9 / SR9c are nice guns, I've had some trigger time on them and was impressed. Other Ruger autoloader designs (that come to mind) have wrong-way safety levers, or are KelTec duplicates.
 
MkII. Always goes to the range and is accurate and reliable with bulk ammo. Can shoot for hours for less than $20 of ammo.
 
agree on the MK II's......some of ruger's best handguns ever made. very accurate pistols.

Just Got my second Mk III hunter (sold the first). This is a Talo (?) edition. It came with 3 mags and an extra set of grips. I'm still getting used to the laminate grips.

Mine is my P944 but since it is the only Ruger I own I wouldn't expect that to carry much weight.
 
BFD, I look at the safety as being non-traditional and not "wrong", besides that, it works really well for me and only with a little practice to get used to it.

Wow, the .22s are really popular...some nice pictures too...thanks and keep em' coming. My favorite is my P95.

The P944 is a nice pistol, I almost got one about a year ago but the price wasn't quite right.
 
Well 9mm I will back up your P95 with a P95 as well. I have two of them and love shooting them. It took alot to get used to the long trigger pull in DA and creep in SA but once I did I loved them...........And contrary to popular opinions I like the looks of them to.
 
Punisher, you read my mind...I think the P95 looks good too! Yeah the long DA pull took some getting used to for me as well, but the creep in SA is something I always liked since it helps me gauge when it will break. I plan on getting another one asap.
 
My MkII Government Target Model. Accurate and inexpensive enough ammo wise to get lots of shooting time.
 
I'll be a little different. I really like my early 22/45. 5 1/2" Bull-barrel, adjustable sights, and extreme accuracy with just about anything I feed it. Great teaching gun, too.:D
 
My 22/45 is awesome. It goes thousands of rounds between cleanings. Super accurate and reliable.

I never plan on selling this one.

if you're willing to drill it in it works, but I've spent too much time drilling in a smooth draw, present, swipe thumb down motion. It works for "right" safety levers, and it works for "no safety lever" guns.

If I drill that motion in any more I'll have to get a drop-leg tactical holster and a better username to reflect my elite tactical status ... I think I've drilled just enough, it happens without deliberate thought now, and I'm pretty much confident in my carry setup and draw ability, using an upside-down lever in the wrong part of the gun would just interfere with that. Otherwise pretty much everything Ruger makes (that isn't a KT copy) is solid and over-engineered if anything, they're great guns for the range or defensive uses, just not for me.
 
Well, the only Ruger I have ever owned is my SR9, so I guess I'll have to put it down.

Wait, no, no, I love it too much to euthanize it :evil:

I have never liked the swept-back grip angle on the Mark pistols although they do look sweet.

Right now I am liking my SR9c. Plenty of grip for me with the pinkie rest on the mag, a slim frame and a nice trigger. The low bore axis actually makes it gentler to shoot than even my P95. Still love the P95, but for some reason I have never shot it as well as other pistols.

I like it because it fits MY hand ... your hand might prefer the 22/45 grip if the rake on the traditional Ruger .22 pistol isn't your cup of tea.
