Man, if I'd seen that when I ordered my THR/Molon Labe shirts yesterday I would have put it in the cart and saved on shipping! It's a steal at $22k.

Kalishnikov recommendations and comma splices go together like muppets and fisting.

However, credit where credit is due: points must be awarded for the Cthulhu disclaimer and inclusion of the multi-tool.

nice work.

Taliv, I totally don't understand that first sentence of your post, but it still made me laugh. :) (what is a comma splice?)

Man, I love my job.

Comma splices are things that only crusty old men who sit around reading Strunk and White's The Elements of Style grouse about. They have no bearing on TEH INTERNETS.

:p

If your customers are going to grouse about grammar on your site, you know whom to contact.

Bet she'd work on the cheap, too ...

probably not as much as your zombie page made me laugh. very entertaining. again, nice work.

pax: :)

A+ That was funny!

You know, someone ought to offer a one-stop-shop for all the SHTF, tacticool, load-out stuff one will INEVITABLY acquire after hanging around internet gun forums for a while and developing (a well justified) paranoia of SHTF scenarios. Why waste money, time and energy? Takes months to read and research, costs more to buy everything seperate, making mistakes is costly, trial and error...

One big kit, with everything - DONE. Then the user can just focus on what really counts - training.

you should consider including a heavy leather jacket as both anti-bite gear, and if you put your brand on the back, advertisement! ;)

Did you guys like the bit about the digital cammo? Knowing is half the battle. :)

12 ga shotguns, .45 acp, and centerfire rifle rounds are way overpowered and impractical for zombie survival. You need to kill a zombie by hitting it in the head. A torso shot from something like a .50 bmg wouldn't stop it. But anything that can penetrate to the brain is a quick kill. You need something powerful enough to kill with a one shot brain shot, but not be too big to lug around in huge quantities. Quantity of ammo on the body is important for large zombie crowds, which one might run into from time to time. You don't need uber accuracy, either, because very little, if any, killing would be done from a great distance.

I've always felt the ultimate weapons system for a zombie plague would be a pair of Glock 17s, one in each hand, with a virtual bandolier of loaded 17 rd mags. Or an MP5 with a Glock 17 backup.

this is a common misconception. a head shot is not the only way to kill a zombie. spine shots work just as well. also, in close combat instances you may bot be able to get the weapon to aim on thier head. in which case, the knock down/ slow down power of 12 gauge and .45 will really come in handy. should you be confronted with a fast runner charging you or your fellow survivor the head/spine shot may not be possible, but if you can tag him with those 9 .33 balls or .45 of whoopin it may buy you enough time to make it to safety or properly dispose of the walking dead. remember, always prepare for the WORST case zombie situation, not the ideal one. and always remember. dont try to fight the zombies. Avoidance is your best option.

stay safe, stay smart, stay un-un-dead

Jeff, common newbie mistake. You can't just punch a hole in the head. You've got to have scrambled brains.

Trust FBMG on this one, we've done the research. I had to saw off a friend's arm after he got bit, trying to use a 5.7.

:p

I thought he was talking about coma splices and I thought is was funny. I can't even spell let alone punkchuate.

These new zombies scare me very much, It is so much fun to shoot the old zombies at close range, with a double barrel sawed off, I will need training for the new fast ones

A friend of mine just opened a new studio and is making a zombie mmo--i really wanted to send a link to the kit. :(

Archived anywhere?

Try the waybackmachine

No guarantee, though. Sadly, FBMG bit the dust a while back and their website never was really much...

Yeah, I sold my share of FBMG about a year ago and got out. They went out of business about 8 months later.

I'll have to look and see if I've got the original file around here somewhere.
