Field strip Remington 742 Woodmaster?

Can someone tell me how to Field strip Remington 742 Woodmaster? This one has been in storage for 25 years.

stripping one of these rifles involves removing the bbl. If I were you I would remove the soft parts and just give the action a good douching with brake-kleen

Ditto on that krochus. That's just what I did with mine about a month ago. Follow up with some CLP and your good to go.
