It's working now.

What a beautiful rifle. Look about perfect for hog hunting from a stand, or a pillbox.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal was; the cars were made in the same plants as the guns, yet only the latter were worth a darn. My M76 is about as 'nice' as I can imagine an AK-derivative being, and these M53 kits which are getting built into semi-autos were in top, unissued shape when the torch-men arrived :(

Both cars & guns the last of their kind, since Clinton bombed the industrial plant where both were being made during Kosovo (or was it Bosnia?) :D

Not quite as nice as Polish stuff, which seems to have always been needlessly high-polished (maybe it was an inside joke), but pretty good quality. Their derivative of the MP40 was pretty good (M56) as was their version of the PPSH (M49)

WOW! Very cool indeed! Never knew they even made such a thing though I would be hard pressed to come up with that kind of money for one. Still, very cool.

The worst part is it would probably be more accurate than my sporter M48 right now and even if it weren't, I wouldn't feel bad about 6" groups from a rebuilt machine gun.
