Finally found a SS PT92 no rail

Just had to share my good luck.

Been looking a long time for a SS Taurus PT92 without the rail. They pop up once in awhile, but usually at more than I want to spend. Well, Friday I stopped in at the LGS to get a couple boxes of ammo. They didn't have the ammo I needed. But always have to check out the gun counter. And in the used case, there it was. And at a killer price to boot. To make things even better, sitting right next to it was a SS PT945 at the same price. Knowing you better get while the getting is good, I snagged both OTD for under $500 total

Now I gotta make it to the range.

That's awesome! One of them for under $500 would be a decent deal but both for that much is fantastic!. If I were you I would buy a lottery ticket while you've got the hot hand.

Nice score. No experience with the 945, but I'm a huge fan of the PT-92 and have been ready to pick up a non-railed version in stainless if I could ever find one in decent shape ... I've had one of the older polished blue PT-92s (with the nice small engraved roll marks) since 1992; it's been as or more accurate than all my Berettas, not once malfunctioned. All I've ever had to do was change out the recoil spring a couple time. Best pistol Taurus ever produced.

Ss pt92

I have a SS PT99,same as the PT92, but with adjustable sights. Have a satin nickle PT 99 also. Like the satin nickel, looks better. Both are great handguns, very reliable and never a problem of any kind.

I just got a '97 blued PT92 for $265, in like new condition.
Had it out to the range already, and it shot great.

Early next week I'll get a chance to try out my PT92. Very nice gun, looks good, feels good in the hand, and everyone seems to hold them in high regard.
