finally! sr1911 in my safe!

Sense the day I heard Ruger was making a 1911, and watching hickok45 shoot one on his YouTube channel I wanted one. I recently moved to OR from AZ and was bummed I couldn't find one in AZ. Today in a small Oregon gun store I finally found one. Man is it pretty! Proud owner of this made in America 1911! Now the question is to brave the rain or not to put a few rounds thru it

I bought mine last Thursday ($669).
Since then 8 people have shot it, including one woman and a young boy. All liked it and several said they want one.



The gun has been flawless with about three hundred 200 grain lead SWC reloads.

The only gripe I have is I'm going to have to replace the sights because the gun shoots high and left.

Also, it's not a deal breaker, but the black parts, grip safety, etc, have a crappy looking finish. About what you would expect on a $125 pistol.

Wow, nice price on the gun. I didn't fair as well, 730 is what I paid, but no sales tax so I was ok with it. To bad about your point of impact. It's raining cats and dogs up here in the northwest. I loaded up a few thousand 230 grain lrn a few months back, ill post how it shoots them.
