Well after a long wait I finally was able to order my gun rig for my gold inlayed Walker this evening from BigBadGun. He has spent the last three days designing something I wanted that would both be showy for the Walker but envoke a bit of Texas at the same time. Now before anyone ask no I am not from Texas...... but the Walker says Texas to me so I wanted something fitting and Bob gave me exactly what I wantedwith his one off design work and incorporated something I wanted in it as well ;) Now to watch the clock :D

Ok here are the first picks should be in order. And the first one is a reenactment LOL.

The first fuzzy picture is me laying out the design. (my wife still cant take a good picture. LOL

The second picture is of the piece of leather that I am gonna cut the holster out of.

The third picture is of the holster cut out and waiting for tooling.

More pics in the next day or so.

Ok here are some pics of me transfering the pattern to the leather.
This holster so far has been a real joy to work on.
The first 3 pics are actual transfer of the design from acetate to the leather.
The last pic is of the design once its been transfered. Next step is the carving.

Bigbadgun, that's going to look great! Very, very cool watching NobleSniper's gunleather evolve. This should be on your website too - this is good stuff to watch and read.

Looks like someone from the suburbs of Indianapolis is getting transformed into a Walker toting Texas Ranger, buckle and all. He'll be posting as Gus McRae before long! He just has to ripen that neutral Mid-western accent into something more colorful (normal, maybe?). :D
