done the way I want it ! I bought a cased 10-22TD with Kryptic Camo stock and threaded 16" barrel for $400 OTD on a sale last year. I put a BX trigger in it by going to a BiRite market that had them on sale for $39.00 and went thru the 5 they had and chose the best trigger :) . I wanted to buy an extra BCG with firing pin to have in breakage case or in case I screwed up the polish job I intended to do on every bolt component. I believe there is nothing wrong with the factory Ruger components, they just need deburring and polishing that a mass production rifle can't get. So keeping the factory parts which worked reliably for 400 rounds after cleaning them I found someone selling NEW Collectors Edition engraved BCG with recoil spring ect for $39.95 - Had to have it ! I spent 3 days working on the rough surfaces of the bolt taking into account the drag marks on the carboned up original bolt I laid on the bench as I polished :) The results are profound ! While not sure of what ammo it likes best it does shoot the Remington Low Noise LRHP ammo into 2" repeatable at 50 yards where I sighted in the 1.75-5x Burris Fullfield camo I won on Ebay for around $150 . I used Warne detachable low rings and bought the little barrel band pic rail for a light and to provide a front sling point. The cased rifle fits into my road king Classic saddlebag and with loaded 10 round mags in right saddle bag and the cased gun locked into left saddle bag it is California legal. When I move to Oregon later this year I will apply for a hearing protection device. I really like this set up :)

For what it's worth, my 10/22 is scary good with federal auto match, and over a chronograph I got the same speed as listed on the box! Congrats it looks like a fun piece to test repeatedly!

Looks real nice. I have a take down in stainless and camo that I love. Keeping it stock for now.

Looks good. Does it retain zero upon takedown and reassembly?
Hi! Kinda miss you sir ! It prints 2" groups at 50 yards rested and scope at 5x with those Remington subsonic HP rounds BETWEEN barrel changes, that means 2" total and individual groups have been 1/3 that size or less.

Mine holds zero very well as well. I keep a red dot on mine zero'd at 25yrds. Standing, I put 10x 5rd groups into a < 2.0" ragged hole with mini-mags and taking off and reinstalling the barrel between groups. Which is good enough for my plinking purposes.

Mine is a Kryptek stainless bird cage muzzle device TD, with a TRS-25 on the Ruger mount.

Edit: Double checked range notes, updated results accordingly.
