If anyone ever bought a Dan Wesson and liked the double action trigger on it,its prob. because of me lol.Years ago at a regional match in NY state,I was there and Colt,S&W & Dan Wesson had a table set up.There was a salesman from DW that asked me what I thought of their gun.I told him it was very innovative but the DA trigger pull was horrible.He said that it could be made much better and he went to his trailer to perform something to his gun and he wanted me to return in a bit to test it .Shortly after he returned and I tried it and I told him if was better but still not as good as the Colt&Smith revolvers.Frustrated,he told me to return again in a bit and he did something else to the gun.Again,I tried the double action and found it improved again and I again told him Colt and Smith were still better.At this time he stormed off and I started to walk away.The S&W guy who saw the whole thing then said to me"Holy crap what did you say to piss of Dan Wesson so much?"Yup,it was ole Dan himself and not just a salesman like I thought.A few years later,a gun shop owner friend of mine had just received a Dan Wesson revolver package deal and had me look at it.It was greatly inproved from the early gun I first saw in the early 70's.I guess my remarks hit home?lol
