Creating this new thread since old one I am unable to edit the OP. New version available to download and test.
The Firearm Asset Management Database is a simple program designed to allow a user to track their firearms and a number of other items such as accessories, ammunition, magazines, sights and optics, and knives. More categories can easily be added in future releases. Not only does the user have the ability to add items and information about the item to the database but you can also add a photo of the item as well as export information to an excel file. See below for a list of future enhancements. This project started out as a personal one, a way that I could keep track of various things with an un cluttered and easy to use interface. That and I was bored.
The application is currently in Alpha Phase. Always looking for alpha testers!
The application is currently only supported on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1.
