Firearms For Disaster Victims

As you may (or may not) have heard, much of the bush village of Hooper Bay was destroyed by fire recently. Here's a nice story from today's ADN about helping to get them badly needed supplies:

Members of Alaska Friends of NRA (National Rifle Association), the Hunter Heritage Foundation of Alaska and the Alaska chapter of Safari Club International raised donations to purchase 13 shotguns and 13 rifles for the Hooper Bay families. Sportsman's Warehouse in Anchorage sold the firearms at cost and threw in a rifle and shotgun so every family would get one of each.
