Got my first of the type knife described above about a week ago. It's the mini scalper from 310 Forge by Mike Kahil. I wanted a custom for awhile now and met this guy through an FB group. I've used this to mainly cut avocados and tomatoes for sandwiches at work and small tasks that my CS Espada would be too much to pull out the pocket for. He is currently making me a Bart Moore style bowie. 20210614_110913.jpg 20210611_203438.jpg

What's the stitching on the sheath? Quite a nice knife and sheath if I do say so myself. Understatement can be elegant.

I am not the best at describing stitching but it is not double stitched but it is definitely solid. I do like the knife alot, this was his cheaper model (he has others with more premium handle materials) for around 75 bucks in 1075

Nice sized utility-type knife from Mike Kahil!

Your photo has made me think about two things: 1) checking out his knives, and 2) making myself a ham sandwich!
Definitely check out his page! https://310forge.square.site/

Hes not a very well known guy yet but I hope he is eventually, I know he is trying to get his hand on the TV show Forged in Fire. My bowie is coming along as well. Attached is a pic of the forged out blade. As for the sandwich I mix ham and turkery for my take on a club sandwich, I add tomato and avocado and as a civilized man some mayo on toasted bread with swiss cheese definitely saves me money for knives when I dont eat it at work !
