So had a productive trip to the gun show this weekend picking up these two classic Smiths a 34 and 28-2 IMG_20190202_150029709.jpg
Had a1/2 day at work today so I took them to the range. This was the first round out of the 36 @ 7 yards

Not a fluke it really shoots, and sights are spot on. The 28 is a keeper too and man is a N frame good a soaking up the recoil of full tilt boogie 357s.

Nice!

Nothing better than firing the first shot right on target!

I agree that the 28 should be a pussycat with magnums. You sure scored a couple of nice ones .
Stay safe!

The last time I shot my 625 I did the exact same thing. I was using Shoot n See targets, so the other lanes got to see my perfect shot in neon glory! :D

Yeah I almost stopped and walked away but I had 28 to shoot. Also shot my newish GP100 10mm I've had it about 3 weeks. First time I shot it I figured out that my Rainier plated HPs are too hot/have too much crimp and we're shedding the jacket and keyholing.
Was having thoughts that "OMG this thing is junk" that was quickly elevated as my hot lead load shot just fine

Great score with both vintage guns!

Like your opening shot with the Model 36; nice first impression with a new gun!
