first rifle loads

Yesterday my granddaughter loaded her first rifle loads. She has been loading her 9mm for PCC those were all on the xl650. She loaded 250, 223 for her first prairie dog trip coming up in 4 weeks. I made her do them all on the rock chucker so she could see the entire process and hopefully make more accurate ammo for the PD trip. After she finished she looked at me and asked "Why can't I use the big blue press like I did for 9mm?"

Because you needed to build more character.
It's how it's done ... Everybody has to fall while learning to ride a bicycle.

I do the same for everyone I introduce to reloading, especially rifle cartridges ... single stage until they master the reloading process.

To me, going progressive is simply increasing production rate ... that's what it SHOULD BE. ;)
