First time shooting my .308 at 300, 400, and 475 yards

Kentucky windage works if the variables are changing often. If there's a steady wind, then adjustments should be made on the scope.

Good job. Once you get used to the longer ranges, those groups should shrink.

 

[Redneck with a 40]

The first two 300 yard groups on the upper left corner, top target, were with no wind. After that I clicked right 4 clicks. The remaining groups were under a 5-10 mph crosswind, so I was aiming for the right edge of the target, top of the cardboard. It was pushing me 3-5" left, about what I would expect.
