I still think the Best option is hand priming the .223 for at least the 1st Time Priming It....
Seems once they have been loaded Once they seem to cooperate better then next trip to the Press

I have 1000 new 1x shot Bulk Brass i purchased... all Mixed head stamp.... Once it is sorted and Sized I will Trim the Primer Pocket and hand prime them... and any that FIGHT me will get an attitude adjustment again:D and then primed

I use a Lee load-master, never had a problem... That I did not cause:fire: Press works great! Just learning the prep that MUST happen when you first get cases once fired or pick ups.

trim to length(you can decap first)
decap(only need to first time with crimped primers)
cut out crimp on crimped cases(i use a 82 deg. cutter)
de-burr the I.D. & O.D.(very important no burrs)

I shoot a AR, bolt guys go to lengths I don't go to.

I ran 75 through the primer station, quick twist with a reamer and steady firm motion on the handle and it worked pretty well. I think I had 2 I had to do the reamer again and 1 or 2 that I had to seat a little deeper.

Taking down the primer seating pin and cleaning it out and touching each case with the reamer seemed to help. I think I'll prime another 100 cases and see how it goes.
