As I've been reloading, I have been cleaning my brass with a vinegar wash solution, and it's ok, although it's not very good on the inside, but i know that's not too big of a deal. Until now, I have been only doing about 36 rounds at a time, so it was sufficient. But now I have gathered a bit more brass, and i think it's about time i get a tumbler. I have been doing research and browsing, and I'm not going to get the cheapest one possible, but I'm not going to blow $100+ on a dillion. We're talking +/- 100 rounds at a time. from what I have found, these 2 fit my criteria, and I was just wondering if anybody have used these at all.

They all work. Berrys has a nice one also. They are pretty much the same, probably made in China.

I have a Lyman Turbo (big) it works fine. I picked up a Thumblers (used, like new at a pawn shop) for cheap and it is top quality and much quieter than the others. It's more money but I think worth it. Very well made.

Nope, not made in china, made right here In the U.S. with American labor, except for the motor which no one on this side of the rim supplies.

You can get it from Cabela's for $69.99 for the complete kit or the tumbler alone for $59.99. If you order from Cabla's you get the lifetime warrenty. so beat that.

Course if ypu wish to support the Chinese industry there are plenty out their in the same price range.

I believe I posted the Cabelas which is the Berrys,

I do not know all the parts made in China, but if the motor is, well that;s the major part of the unit.Regarless they all work.

So for clarification most all the tumblers in the low to med price range on the market are pretty much the same. Is that OK?

It's funny that you mentioned the Cabelas kit, because it occurred to me when I got off the computer earlier. that seem to be the most bang for the buck, and I can pick it up right at the store as well.... so I think its the winner.

I've had the same old Ultra Vibe 10 for a long time, and it's still going strong. I bought a cheap one many years ago and it didn't last long at all, so I strongly suggest that you go for a top shelf tumbler to avoid premature failure. And I can't count the number of times I've forgotten about my tumbler for as long as a week.

I just looked at my Thumler and the the motor is actually made, wait for it.......

by Fasco industries in Missouri! I believe it is a all USA made unit!.

Regardless I can see, hear and feel the difference in quality between it and the Lyman Turbo,

Not that the Lyman is bad. Heck they all work, So folks by them from Harbor Freight:eek:

Surprised the SMURFS have not descended and stated Buy a Dillon!:D;)

Yes, you get the extras of the kit for less money than just the unit. You can not go wrong with that one. It will will you well.

Lyman

I'm all for the Lyman and I have a 1200 but I prefer and need the volume capacity of my 2200. If you are going to get into volume shooting and loading I'd recommend it(I believe the newer model may be the 2500). Mine is 14 years old.
