I recently a Taurus Gaucho in 45 Colt. So far I've fired Hornady 255gr & Magtech 250gr Cowboy loads. The Hornadys average about 9-12 inches high at 25 yards & the Magtech average about 6 inches high. Any suggestions regarding ammo selection, etc?

Thanks,

Woody

Generally speaking lighter bullets will hit lower. You can try some 200 grain loads but your gun is shooting very high. 12 Inches at 25 yards is WAY high. A taller front blade is needed to lower the point of aim but I have no idea how hard is to replace the blade on your gun. I would contact Taurus if you bought it new.
