a 700 bdl rem 7mm RUM left hand in ex condition with a cheap tasco scope with a box of factory 140 grs shells. marks on the stock are from tape to hold the price tag. if it doesn,t shoot I,ll rebarrel it.

My brother has a left handed stainless 700 in 7mm RUM and its a laser beam and hard on steel targets even at range. The damage it does to deer size targets is impressive. The recoil is substantial for sure.

My dad had two 7mmrums and his friend had a few, all shot good. Loaded some 140s hot to the point they were blowing up in the air. I had a 300rum that shot good aswell. hope it shoots for you.

Admittedly with my fixation on 7mms has not extended to the RUMs, not sure why. I'll join the others in hoping that one shoots for you!

Agree, my LH 700BDL in your basic 7mm mag works just fine TYVM. Hope yours shoots 3/4" 3 shot groups at 200 yards like my mine 7mag does.

That looks like a fun shooter. I always wanted to try an Ultra Mag.

I’m lefty and don’t have a bolt action. There is a lefty Wby Mk 5 300 Wby Mag and 257 Wby Mag set that is calling to me though.

Probably just get another lever action.

as I,m a lefty I always looking for left hand rifles-shotguns. I have 6 LH rifles and 1 LH shotgun, the 7mm rum looks like a fire breather, but i will not be fireing those loads very much(only to sight it in), a 162 gr A-max bullet at 3300 fps would be a ex long range bullet with a bc of 625. but for 99 precent of my hunting needs its way over powered. but we are not talking about need here, only want. isn,t this country great.

Never saw a Remington 700 that didn't shoot well, perhaps with a little stock tinkering. That said, there's a defect with the bolt...it's on the wrong side for me. Ha ha!
