Flip Peep for M1A

I have a Springfield Armory M1A Scout model with the 18 inch barrel. The peep sight is very open or coarse which is great for close range shooting but not so great for long range or precision shooting.

I would really like a flip peep sight like on my AR-10T, with a large open peep for close range shooting that can be flipped over to a fine small peep for long range precision shooting. Does anyone manufacture such a peep sight for the M1A. THANKS!

Not that I know of.

But you could put a National Match aperature sight slide in your present sight base and just screw the target aperature out for a big close range peeky boo hole.
