Floated synthetic barrel

I recently bought a Weatherby vanguard with a synthetic stock and it shoots fair. I have floated the barrel to the point that a piece of paper can be pull between the stock and barrel. I have an A bolt and the paper pulls through it "easier." Do I need to sand some more of the stock out?

shoot your Weatherby, get the barrel hot, and see how the paper slides when the barrel is expanded. If it doesnt slide, or binds up sand away.
