Hi all,
I am flying to Vegas and then driving back to Arkansas next month, and have a couple of questions regarding carrying a weapon.
I understand in order to fly with a pistol you must have a locking box to store the pistol, and the ammo must be in its own container (no loaded mags). Declare it at the ticket counter and hop on the plane. Is this correct?
Also, it looks as though every state I am driving through honors my carry permit, except New Mexico. What are the laws concerning weapons in a vehicle in NM? Though I rarely am pulled over, I have no intention of illegaly carrying/concealing any weapon in any state.
That's it for now, though I am sure I will come up with more questions before I take off. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Maurice
