Flying with guns

While they may not be tagged "firearms" I managed to find an older gentleman in a big cowboy hat with about 4 long gun cases and casually asked him if he was "keeping 2A alive" and he said "however did you know?" I found on my most recent flight that Cabellas has a very nice lockable case that is almost as nice as the Pelican but much cheaper, and I kept the action open with a cable lock through it so the TSA people just x rayed through the case and did not even open it or otherwise delay me, and I was surprised how smoothly everything went.
