I figured out how to remove the decocking levers on an FNX pistol without (completely) breaking them. Thought I'd share.

The left lever is permanently secured to a large pin. The right side lever has a clip inside that secures to the end of the pin.

0. Buy a replacement set from Midwest Gunworks, just in case.
1. Drill a small, shallow hole in the right side lever.
2. Put a small punch in there.
3. Tap it with a hammer until the left side lever moves out a fraction of an inch, then stop. If you did this right, the clip inside of the right side lever is now bent enough for the next step.
4. Push the left lever back in and gently pry off the right side lever. The clip that holds it in will still be locked to the pin. But the entire clip will come out of the right side lever. Then you can slide the clip off the pin.
5. If you bend the clip, it'll slide back into the right side decocking lever. Just guide the little wings that hold it in back into the holes in the lever. But it will fit loosely. Put a punch in the center of the clip and tap it. It'll go back to the original shape, locking it back in! Now it's ready to be snapped back on.
