The only synthetic holster I can get over here, apart from nylon, is a Fobus.
I want an owb holster for my Glock, so it looks like it will have to be a Fobus.
I would have preferred a belt attachment, but all the Fobus holsters here are paddle.
The only choice I have is between the regular Fobus friction fit, and the retention version, which is similar to the Serpa retention system ie. you depress a switch on the side of the holster with your index finger, which releases the gun. This is not to be confused with the thumb break version where a lever between the gun and the waist is pushed forward to free the gun.
Given my choices, which would you go for?
I'd also be grateful if you could tell me how well the Fobus magazine holders retain the magazines. Are they secure, or apt to come loose with vigorous movement?
