I will start by saying the Smith & Wesson. 44 Magnum Mountain Gun with the 4" barrel. I have wanted one for years. Time to get it!.

It really depends on what presents itself that I've been looking for, but mostly I've been thinking about a stainless Ruger Mk IV Hunter .22LR with the long barrel. I have a MkIII Target short barrel, but would trade or sell it.

I'm not looking for anything. Indeed, I plan to do some downsizing this year. Nevertheless, I'm most likely to add another bolt action rifle as they are my favorite arms. If I do, it might be a 6mm ARC. I also might build an AR pistol on an available lower. But if neither happen I won't lose sleep over it. I have plenty to enjoy and a few I need to make available to others.

I voted revolver: either a 629 hunter in 44mag, a super redhawk in 44 mag, a 686 in 357 mag, or… a 460 xvr… or, I might scratch my 1911 itch instead… Sig STX, or possibly a Springfield garrison… or… I dunno. Haha. I might go for another rifle/custom action… who knows. Only so much $ to spread around, and so many guns to buy. Haha

I'll be honest, I'm in illinois guys. The laws they've made in the last few years, we can't buy or sell face to face anymore.

Used to be you could exchange foid info and do that.

Man , I sure miss that.

I miss the face to face meet ups and horse trading. And now, they've added an assault weapon ban and registration.

I mostly look at moving these days. Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, who knows. It would be hard to do much worse as a gun guy.

A Stainless Ruger GP100 in .357 Mag has been calling my name lately.... it'll probably be bought sometime in 2024! Also I have been quite interested in a Rossi R92 in .357.
