A Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol and a bunch of 8-pellet Federal Flight Control 00 buck shel

So many types and choices today!

I will start by saying the Smith & Wesson. 44 Magnum Mountain Gun with the 4" barrel. I have wanted one for years. Time to get it!.

Your choice THR?
I want only one more firearm. In my late 20s through mid 30s I hunted coyotes as a second income. One gun I had was my favorite, a Rem 788 in 223 with a 10X Weaver on top. It was traded off back then, and I've wanted one ever since, but a good one is outlandishly expensive.

I've eyed this thread a couple of times since it was started. Wife and kid have been sick, figured I must be coming down with whatever they've had...because I haven't thought of a single thing that I'm really jonesing for. But I feel fine. No fever, cough, or anything.

There are plenty I'd like to have but none are goals I've set. I don't remember what my list would have been this time last year, but I'm pretty sure I didn't get many of the things on it. And I'm positively sure most of those I didn't get aren't even on my list anymore.

I still don't have a model 41 or a Match Target though...

The goal is a heap of more reserve .308 ammo, in case immed. after the actual ballots (+ the Other "ballots"...;)) are counted next November…. ammo prices Jump.:( Never assume anything.

After more ammo, a CETME L (.223) by Marcolmar would be fun.
Very high quality rifle, and .223 ammo would be half the price of what is used in my only “roller-delayed blowback” rifle, the PTR-91 “Classic GI” (.308).

This PTR is an excellent rifle (nib in 2021) but the 1,400 round$ I’ve used really add$ up.

Something in 270.

I have neglected and dismissed this cartridge for my whole life and after a long think on what could be a very versatile and commonly available cartridge, the 270 is what I came up with. Varmints to elk and 400+ yds for both range fun and North American hunting.

Not the latest wizbang but with an election year upon us, I want something boring and basic for the coming years.

Call me crazy but there is nothing on my wish list. There are a few I would like to have back but I find myself just waiting on my wife's hopefully last surgery, a break in the weather, and then I will start burning up ammo I've loaded over the years and not had time to shoot.

Really need to allow multiple choices. 🙂
I voted bolt action because that's probably what I'm gonna get next , in 7prc.
But I also plan to get a lever gun and a revolver, probably in 44mag.

Sounds like one of those guns I hear about on the news. You know, the scary kind...haunted or possessed or ghostly. Something like that.
Yeah but those are generally the ones that are made out of some strange kind of rock. I think they call it Basalt. These will probably be more along the lines of medication, you know the shingles shot. Probably. Maybe not, but probably. Definite maybe.

That's a good 'un. The other one I'd like is a new model Anaconda, and even better if it's in .45C!

If you are interested in a prairie dog rifle, I have a beautiful like new CZ Varminter in .204 with a Leupold scope set up and ready to go. It’s listed in the For Sale forum
Too soon after Christmas although I appreciate the heads up. I'm getting ready for tax time right now so probably will not look at anything until May.

After I hit the lottery my list is … 2 03a3s, 2 45-70lever guns, 2 1911a1s, 2 Kraig’s, 2 Quigley Sharps,, 2 Lugers, 2 Mauser broomhandles, 2 Mauser k98s, 2 S&w Highway patrolmen, 1 1851.44 colt navy brasser…
why 2 you ask … I have 2 grandsons who like to shoot. .oh and I already have a brasssr to leave them. Plus about 2 k ammo per gun.
