Oooh , we're posting 1911 porn again?

I have two real 1911s and two wannabes.

Smith revos and 1911s? I love your taste in guns Mr. Shear!

Please excuse my poor taste in reloading bench covers!

HA! On that light weight Officers , which I assume is NP3 , I notice your using a low safety. I too have found the low safety to work well on the shortened grip officers model. What did he do to the front strap? What are the sights?:)

Ah Kruzr! We meet again my friend.
Gordon, yes I like the low safety as I shoot thumbs fowrward and straight.
The frontstrap is a somewhat high but not course stipple with a beautifull straight edge border. The sights are P-T bar-bot nite sites.

I really really really hate you right now! Of course Ill get over it, but Ill hate you more later also

Did you get that Kruzr?! Same goes for you and your Fancy Schmancy Ed Brown.

Of course I'm both kidding and extremely jealous. :neener: The bobtail Ed Browns are (IMO) the sexiest 1911's yet. One of these days...

LOL, yep. I had my other guns out last night, couple colts, couple Kimbers pre-S2 and this springfield has a completely different feel. I think it's a combo of the short trigger, flat MSH, and trimmed thumbsafety. It's just liek a well fitted glove. Accuracy? Frightening. Hole into hole at 50ft and 75 yards it's fist size. (Match bushing and recrown factory barrel.):what:

I've never caught the 1911 bug, one of you guys needs to give me one, so I can see what all the excitment is all about!

Forget it Brigrat, you can go broke like the rest of us!

Now if there wasn't a more truthful statement.

Since last Saturday, I've bought two 1911's. First is a Pre-Series II Kimber Custom. Second, was an impulse buy, a SA loaded gun that has been hard chromed and had a set of Crimson Trace laser grips. In three days I spent $1100.

Now I'm on a mission to get a 10mm 1911.

Steve

Well, THAT sure isn't stock.

That just may be the understatement of the year.

Oh, wait a sec. That was in response to Trigger's pic and not Master Blaster's pic, wasn't it?
