For those of you who want to advertise you are carrying...

Most people that know me, know that I am "into" the shooting sports.
I live in a "shall issue" state.
I live a small south western town where it isn't uncommon to see people carrying openly.
I live in a town of less than 30k population that has at least two class III dealers.
I live in a town where the city attorney advised the public library that they had to remove their signs that denied the right to carry inside the library.
Somehow I doubt that I would be letting any cats out of the bag by wearing one of those vests. In fact, I do sometimes wear a RR vest. If you spotted me wearing my vest because you were so clever and commented on it, my reply would be, "You arn't from around here are you ?". Or possibly, "You just drive in from California ?". Maybe even, "You passing through on your way to see Death Valley ?" Yeah ? Well just keep right on going.

Cool As A Moose, a t-shirt shop in Bar Harbor, Maine carries a great shirt with this caption:

"Alcohol,"
"Tobacco,"
"Firearms?"
"Who's bringing the chips??"

It's not at all uncommon to see folks wearing a photojournalist vest and a "scrambled eggs" NRA cap in public around here. Me? I like to be a little more discreet. But honestly? It generally only means something to those who actually carry or are sympathetic to packing, anyhow.

Let 'em wonder.

"Support Mental Health or I`ll kill You" is from Viet Nam. Don`t know if it really originated there though.

"Cool as a Moose" is an expression I haven`t heard in god knows how long. I thought it was a NYC expression.

It isn't so much that I want to, it's that like 444 and some others on this board, I am fortunate enough to live in a free part of the United States. Here in freedom, we don't really care what the badguy is thinking, but you can bet that he is worried about what we are thinking.

Freedom is like that, very peaceful and liberating.

I would love to get some of the MMM, or VPC attire. The problem is I don't want to give them one single red cent of my money. I would love a MMM shirt to wear to the range every week!! The irony of that would be just too funny.

Ruger,
I like the way you think. How about hanging around one of their little rallies and 'liberating' one of their jackets etc if laying around?

I wouldn't do that either.....
