Form 1 Approval Ridiculousness

I submitted four Form 1s about a month and a half ago. All of them were for SBRs and all of them were submitted via the same avenue (eForms using the same trust). I completed all eForms within the same evening. I also mailed the cover sheet and fingerprint forms for all four submissions in the same envelope.

Fortunately, two of the four Form 1s were approved on Tuesday morning. I figured the remaining two would be approved either later that day or perhaps on Wednesday. However, the other two are still pending approval.

This isn’t a complaint as I’m happy that two were approved in about 45 days and I’d much prefer that than waiting longer and have them all approved on the same day.

However, I am curious as to how ATF/FBI complete the Form 1s as logic suggests that if I submitted four identical (sans the firearm info) Form 1s on the same day, then the four approvals would come on the same day. Does anyone know why this is not the case?

It's not unusual.
I've had Form 4's certified/submitted at the same time and the same examiner approved them weeks apart. There is never a reason given why they would do that.
Four for one customer over a five week period.

This Tuesday I received an approval for a silencer but still waiting on that buyers second silencer. Consecutive serial numbers certified/submitted within ten minutes of each other.

This happens all the time.

Your applications didnt go the same examiners inbox.

It is just the way it is.

It is getting better, slowly.
