A definite must-have K frame!

Had a 4" heavy barrel Model 13 many years ago. One of my favorite S&W service revolvers. Also loved the Ruger Speed Six with the 2 3/4" barrel.

Very nice revolver. I have been keeping an eye out for a 3 inch model 13 or 65. I have 6, .357 magnums but none are K frames. I have 6, K frames, but 5 have a 4 inch barrel and one has a 2 inch. Seems like I have a solid opening for a 3 inch magnum K frame in there. Problem is I do not have $1000 in my gun fund and that's pretty much the entry price on those, unless I get lucky

This one was quite a bit less than $1000....sshhhhh!

Nice. I sold a 13-3 3” recently because I have another one in bound with some custom touches. They are excellent shooters. Enjoy it

Hard to beat a quality vintage piece like that. S&W made em really good back in the day. Would be a great carry gun. Congrats on your find and purchase.

Very nice!

I bought mine several years ago, another “I just stumbled onto it” find at a LGS that had a decent consignment cabinet. ;)

They are great guns! They are fantastic with .38’s and +P loads, magnums offer plenty of power, and yet these guns are easily concealed without having to wear a parka.

Now I did take off the classic wooden grip panels and replaced them with a Pachmayr Professional grip. This makes the gun a bit more pleasant when loads get on the spicy side.

Stay safe.
