I've started processing a lot of rifle brass lately. I was doing it with an RCBS Trim Pro but I still had to deburr and chamfer. So I went looking for a tool that did both. This one seems to do the job. It's a Trim Pro cutter head that trims, deburrs and chamfers.

It takes awhile to get the deburr cutter set but after that it's pretty fast. Not the cheapest tool on the market but it appears to be well made. So far I've processed about 100 cases and I'm pretty happy with it. I've had good service from RCBS so I know if I have problems they'll step up and help me out.

After getting it dialed in how do you like your setup? Thats the one thing I like about the RCBS setup and the Giraud is all in one on one tool.

Like everything else, I'll have to wait to see how it holds up over time. Because brass is so much softer than tool steel I expect the cutters to last awhile. All in one is pretty slick and expect some other companies with similar tools like the Trim Pro will jump on the wagon. It's worth the price.

The RCBS 3 way trimmer head works great!
You can buy just the pilots to do other calibers. A carbide head is also available
Pricey but worth it.

Also solves the quandary of what order in which to chamfer or deburr:)

Giraud has been making the Tri-Way cutter for a long time. Super easy to use and is just brilliant overall. $100, and you chuck it up in a drill or a motor:

I made my own setup using a Harbor Freight buffer motor, added a foot switch, and I am in "timmer heaven" when it comes to trimming brass.

Cadillac.

I was torn between that one and the RCBS. My problem is I may be moving soon and I'm not sure how much room I'll have in my next place. I'm trying to keep it as simple as I can, but I would prefer a set up like that.

CoalTrain49 I have the RCBS 3 way trimmer it works great! I have had I for a year or so now and trimmed 1000's of 556/223 brass with it. Like you said once you get it setup your good to go. And so far it's staying pretty sharp you just have to stop and brush out the shavings. It's a total time saver and hand saver for me.
