Found a Unicorn at a Gun Show

Actually found what I think is a deal at a gun show. Went with some friends to a show in Tampa, FL on Sunday not really believing I would find something that would get my attention. I've been wanting to get a CZ 75 B but based on past gun show experiences I didn't figure I'd get a deal on one.
A vendor had a number of new 75 B Omega, convertible models on display. Comes with an installed hammer drop safety and in the box was an ambidextrous regular safety you can swap out. Came with 2 magazines.
$500 was the price plus sales tax and background fee for a total of $541.43. I've searched on-line and have for the most part found them listed for $749 - $779.
Did I get a deal?

Big CZ fan, I have around 3 dozen CZ pistols, from the basic 75B to some rare hard to find and expensive stuff.

I never got into the Omega trigger guns, as a trigger snob, Omegas just can't reach the level of the regular action.

That said, the steel framed Omega guns were/are harder to find. With them now being discontinued, the prices are going up.

I'm not particularly a CZ-75 fan, but, I would have sprung that US$500 out as fast as I could, too.

Was loaned one out to carry, donkey's years ago, and I found I preferred it to the other options..

I’ve recently rediscovered CZ; my TS2 and Shadow 2 Orange have been nothing less than astonishing. You did well on this! I would have been all over that. Bravo!

I sold mine....wasn't that excited about it over a Browning and a couple of 1911's I had.

I've been lusting for a Shadow 2 Orange for quite a while now and it is the next purchase on my list. I shot 2 Shadow 2 Orange pistols belonging to friends and I gotta have one! Should have gotten one a couple months ago when they were available but right now they are hard to find.

Yep that's a very good price on a CZ 75!

You'll find it's real easy to swap out the decocker if you want to. I did it on my P07. Instructions are in the owner's manual and probably took all of 5 minutes to do the swap.

I saw those as well, they also had P10-Cs for $300? I think? I don't own any CZs yet, was tempted but I went looking for other things.

Nice buy! I don’t blame you for snapping it up, I also would have bought that gun right away myself.

My only Omega is a P-01 Compact. It shoots amazingly well for a smaller pistol.
