Orygun!
I did. Tuesday I was reloading some 45 ACP with small primers. Today I got my kick about shoes, the ones I wear in my shop, and when I went to put one on a shiny little round thing rattled around in the shoe. Turned out to be a SA primer! I guess I carried it around in my shoe for 2 days. I don't care for the thin sleeve paper as often when I pick one up, a few primers fall out...

I had a lazy Sunday afternoon last week and I headed out to the mancave to cast some bullets for my new 45-70. I happened to have my crocs on my feet and I decided to play it safe and put some boots on.
When I put my boots back on Monday morning I noticed a shiny blob on the toe. It was a thumbnail sized blob of molten lead!
That would have been fun on those plastic crocs!
:eek::eek:

Lucky you didn't stub your toe with that primer in there:rofl:

That certainly would have let you know you were alive…:D

Not since we moved. When I was packing up my loading room I found several dropped pieces of brass and more than a few primers on the floor under my loading bench. I have arranged my new room where there is only one thing on the floor. Well, except for the table legs, LOL! Thats my large Dillon Media Separator, it fits nicely under my loading bench. Easy to access, easy to move, and the dang thing takes up a lot of space any place else.

I found not 1, but 2 lead wheel weights while walking my dog yesterday! It's been many months since I've seen any of those on the roadway.
It used to be I would find several per week, living only a few blocks from a tire store. They're getting scarce as hen's teeth these days.

I’m guessing it’s just me, but I always end up with powder all over my bench. Thankfully the dyson vacuum hasn’t set things off.

I’m a neat and tidy person, but somehow I get powder and primers everywhere.

When my wife and I went on our honeymoon in the Caribbean, flying out of Kansas in the spring, we routed back through Toronto and had an overnight layover. We flew two jumps to get to St. Lucia, regional then international, clearing customs upon arrival, then flew another jump on the way back from the Caribbean to Canada, again, clearing customs there. It was cold that morning in Toronto when we came back to the airport, passed through TSA checkpoint again, and when my wife removed her light, softshell jacket (stereotypical North Face black) as we sat down on the plane - the jacket she had ONLY packed because we knew it would be cold that morning, and NO other part of the trip - she felt something heavy in her jacket pocket.

She’d flown through 3 countries, passing through three TSA checkpoints, and boarded 2 international flights with ABOUT A DOZEN TO 15 LOADED 22LR CARTRIDGES IN HER POCKET.

ETA: she just reminded me - she also had a Leatherman in her purse, the entire time. But they DID search her bag at the outbound international terminal when we checked through from domestic, because they saw my bottle of saline solution on the X-ray… She had a multi-tool with a 3” knife blade and a dozen rounds of live ammunition, but they only caught the contact solution… Security theatre at its finest.

Yep, Picked up an in-law a few years ago and I also walked through security with 2, 12 gauge trap loads in the coat pocket, in a Bob Allen insulated trap coat. Also had a full size Swiss Army pocket knife in pants pocket and no one ever said a thing. Ya think may be the double leather shoulder patches or the 25 Straight Winchester patch might have given me away. NAW!
