If this has already been posted, I apologize, but i didn't see it here.
Right now, the NRA is giving away 1 year memberships to NEW members! This, of course is to boost membership that we need to preserve our 2nd amendment rights!
Here's the link..

www.nrahq.org/nrabonus

Please join and pass the link along!

The NRA is making a one year free membership available to active duty military. You can find the info and contribute to the fund that provides them on the NRA website.

TooTaxed, I went to follow the link in your signature and it didn't go to the right place. Page it opened said "The file you are looking for has been removed or relocated" Just thought you might want to know.

Has anyone checked to see if the memberships went through? I signed up a lot of people but have little or no evidence as to whether or not it worked.

JOINED!

What a coincidence! I sent them an email just today, and mentioned that I couldn't afford the membership because of the crisis.

I'm tickled!

I wonder if this is one of those 1per household deals... cuz if not, I'll get my bro's and parents to join too. :)

joined and thanks. Maybe if they offer that 300 buck lifetime membership deal in the winter I will take it.

Thanks for the info!

Not only did I become a member of the NRA, I also became a member of this excellent site. What a day!

I was about to join at the last gun show I attended. I walked out with $200 worth of ammo and targets instead. Thanks! Just joined!

I signed up too. I'm UK based at the moment but my wife's from Ohio. Eventually we'll be moving out there. I'd hate to show up and find shooting had become as restricted as it has been over here. I think of it as future-proofing.

I have given out this link to many people. Many of signed up. No one has gotten any email confirmations or anything from them.

Looks legit, sounds legit, but it is either broken or they are processing them very slowly.

They probably have a pretty high demand right now over this. Give them some time to process the applications

Very smart move on the NRA's part IMO to increase their membership numbers.

If they can claim 2-3 million more members, it may give them a bit more influence with congress.

I know from experience, that the NRA is running behind on new memberships. I work the local gun shows, and it is taking 3-4 weeks to process memberships that we sign up.
