Anyone do business with them? Was thinking about ordering some 45 acp from them. New customers get free shipping and their prices seem pretty decent. I found several YouTube reviews that claim that the stuff is gtg. I'm looking for input from anyone from this forum that has used their ammo.

Freedom Munitions is indeed good to go.

I've shot thousands of various rounds and calibers. Both new and reman. I can think of one dud (it was a 9mm reman).

Buy with confidence.

I ordered 250 rounds each of 9mm and 45 auto remanufactured. I just could not find a better price anywhere else. Then free shipping for being a new customer on top of that is a bonus.

Another satisfied freedom munitions customer here. Nothing but good experiences so far.

Used them constantly til I began to reload. Never a problem in .45, 9mm, and .380. Good quality remanufactured ammo.

I've shot their 9mm and .45ACP with no issues for 3+ years now. I always and only buy when they have a sale (sign up for email alerts). NEW 9mm under $10/50 box. Makes it not worth it to reload 9mm for plinking.

Some here complain about Freedom. But usually not a lot of facts to back it up.

Some have said things about their .223. I've maybe only shot a small quantity way back. Again with no issues.

I have placed numerous orders for handgun ammunition, both new and re-manufactured, and have always been very satisfied with Freedom Munitions. They have been my primary online ammo source for the past two years.

I came across them a couple of months ago, and have shot about 1000 of their rounds. I've been very happy with them, and definitely recommend them.

They have a program where they'll give you credit for sending brass back, if you're interested.

I will sat this about them... They send me nonstop emails for stuff at 5% off... I don't jump for joy over 5 percent. I think its a little overkill, until I'm looking for ammo to buy.. then 5 percent is cool :)

I order their 9mm by the thousand round case. I can't tell the difference, functionally speaking, between their reloads and their factory new.
Buy with confidence.

I love freedom munitions. Their retail store is about a ten minute drive from my house so I've bought thousands of rounds from them over the last couple years. I've never had a problem with the remanufactured stuff. Also at least one of the local ranges stocks freedom ammo for sale so that tells you something if they'll sell it for use at their range.

Used to buy their 9mm remans. A little underpowered in general, I prefer to hunt for deals on ammoseek or gunbot and usually get close to their prices.

I had a squib round in my pistol which freaked me out (I know it could happen to any big manufacturer) but that did it for me and I stopped ordering from them.

I have friends that swear by them for cheap plinking ammo, though, so YMMV.

I've been buying bullets from the X-treme Bullets side of the house since about 2000. Somewhere around 25,000 or so bullets. Great people to work with, fun to watch the UPS dude deliver 500 pounds of bullets.

Thanks for all the replies. I am more at ease about buying from these folks. If this order goes well I'm sure there will be many more in the future.

.223 ammo

Thanks for the info on freedom munitions just ordered 250 rounds of remanufactured ammo from them. 55 grain vmax.

Freedom is good to go. I like their ammo. Only draw back is if you are on the east coast you will wait a week to 10 days for delivery. Their ammo is first rate though.

I've experienced a few concerning things with my Freedom Orders... dimpled primers and the occasional bullet that is seated slightly too deep. Nothing that prevented anything from firing or safety issues.

That being said, for the price, it's good ammunition. But if you catch the right sale, I can get 9mm Blazer Brass for about the same price and .223 I can get Fiocchi FMJ around the same price depending on retailer.
