Anyone tried it. I put it on two rifles a few days ago & hunted in rain with each have not re oiled yet nor put up , no sign of rust 2 days since hunt

I have some. The only real benefit I have seen is it stays in place, easy clean up, and it doesn't smell like most lubes. I won't go out of way to buy more. There's way too much hype going on over gun lubricants.

Good so far

Have been running it in a 1911 and one AR as a test. About 500 rounds thru each. It makes clean up after a range session the easiest I have ever seen. AR bolt comes clean as a whistle. Like I said in the header, good so far. Don't have to wear gloves and it smells good but I miss Hoppe's #9 aroma.

I used it with good results in warmer climates. In subzero temps it thickens up just enough to cause light primer strikes with a CMC 3.5# trigger in my AR.

I've been running it in my glock for the past 4 months....and well, its lube......nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about.... Works as well as all my other lubes.

I like that its thick and stays where I put it.......and it doesn't make my hands feel greasy and oily when I get it on them....and its non toxic is a plus.

It doesn't do anything that a jug of 10w-30 won't do....but its not a half bad product

Firearms are about the least demanding environment for lubes......you could lube your gun with cooking oil and it'll run just fine......people think you need some spaceage lube for them to run properly, and that couldn't be further from the truth....

Isn't frog lube the one they basically found was overpriced Crisco with some additives?

I was using it and liked it but a couple things brought me to stop using it. It gets thicker and not as good in cold conditions and it is now winter time and also even when warm letting it sit on my gun for few weeks would lead to it then thickening up or something and wasn't as effective a lube. A wiping off and relubing then would make it normal so I decided to stop using and so far using breakfree I don't have that same thing happen after sitting.

I've never used it. Never had a problem with rust either. Then again, I gave up hunting in the rain a long time ago.

If you need the best oil you can get you want probably want Weaponshield or straight 10w or 20w Mobile 1, if you need a grease for the M1 Garand or bolt actions I recommend Mobile SHC 100 red grease. I also use the Mobile SHC 100 on my AKs. A nice film of it on the piston makes clean up real quick.

Cheap Mobile 1 and CLP mix..............

Cheap Gun Grease on rails..............

No Rust, No Problems

Not much reason to look at the latest.......

Unless it makes my bullets shoot straighter.....

I just stay with what works

I tried it in a Winchester 290, used it on the bolt slides up in the receiver. It seems to work fine, doesn't attract as much debris as oils that stay more liquid than solid. This particular rifle is my test pig since it has little or no value to me or anyone else LOL!

I tried it mainly as a coating, I still use high speed bearing grease as a lube in the spots that need it on all my slides, bcg etc, It does make clean up easy I use it on my carbon knives as well no rust, I just don't trust anything but a slight film of grease on active parts. The grease stays where I want it, The oil collects dirt and dust, So I use frog lube in these areas. works for me 1 tub will last for years. Be sure to use heat or it goes on way to thick
